In 2011, newly married, my wife and I left for a one-month hiking honeymoon in Nepal, then kept going. We spent a year in Southeast Asia, teaching English, learning native languages, soaking up the culture, and island-hopping our way home. It stress-tested our marriage, created memories that still anchor us, and set me on a path of adventure for life. I built my first company, Just Envision Marketing, out of a laptop along the way.

Then came the hardest lesson of my career. All of my consulting income ran through a single agency. When their leadership changed and they let me go, I didn't lose a client. I lost everything at once. That collapse taught me how fragile a business built on one relationship really is, and it reshaped how I work: diversified, resilient, and centered on genuine partnership instead of dependence.

That conviction became Ignite Local, founded with my father Brad in 2014. For more than a decade I ran fulfillment, building the systems, processes, and team that now serve a fast-growing client base. In 2025 I stepped in as CEO to lead the next chapter, bringing AI tools and scalable systems to a company that still treats clients like family, because it started with family.

Through all of it, my faith has been the constant, the strength underneath the wins and the losses alike. Work hard, play hard, trust God. That's the whole thing.
